60 Minutes last night: The voter being interviewed in southern Ohio said he believed Barack Obama was a muslim who did not know the words to the Star Spangled Banner. The interviewer asked him if he knew those alleged facts were false. The man said he did not know them to be false. He said it in a way that clearly let you know he was not going to change his mind about them. I say:
“To willfully believe a lie is an act of moral cowardice and unworthy of America.”
Also, I’ve heard Jesus dressed like Osama, was the leader of a subversive sect and did not know the words to the Star Spangled Torah. On that basis I believe Jesus was a muslim! That puts Obama in some good company.
The election of 2008 is here, and the silly season of the superficial has begun.
